It's the same the William Aires relationship and people calling Obama a communist. If these were true and he tried to make this Democracy a Communist country, don't you think a few of us would get super pissed? If it's even legally possible to make us in to a communist country... Again- my ignorance to political science and legality issues. But seriously!!! How far could he go if he really was anything like what he is being accused of being?!?
I want your responses and opinions to this blog! Because most of this was my assumptions and common sense...

he couldn't have even gotten this far if that stuff had any truth to it
Well said John. Hopefully, this shows you and others that, lack of knowledge makes it easier for a person or a group to lie to you.
It is no small matter to change the Constitution, that is, if you try to do it Constitutionally. In this country, I believe that would be the only way that it could happen. For a dictator to step in and control the US would be a difficult thing as I don't believe that our troops could be that disloyal to their own country. That is one of the beauties of an all volunteer army.
Secondly, an armed and free people would resist a dictator vigorously. Hence the Second Amendment.
So that leaves the Constitutional way. Article V of the Constitution states "The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress; provided that no amendment which may be made prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article; and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate."
Knowledge is power.
